ALC est une association reconnue d'utilité publique. Depuis 1958, elle agit pour - et avec - les personnes confrontées à des difficultés sociales, en voie d’exclusion ou exclues. L'émergence de nouveaux besoins et la détresse de publics très divers l'ont conduite à prendre de multiples initiatives, dans la fidélité à ses valeurs humanistes.

The association has been created in 1913 and recognized of public utility in 1920. Its a non –profit organization, ALC is an association that intervenes in the Alps Maritimes, through different initiatives.

 
 

  Association ALC provides assistance to people confronted with social difficulties, break-up of relationship, exclusion. Its social and educational goal is to enable everyone to face everyday life; promote and develop one’s skills and capacities of establishing links with the social environment in the aims of his/her integration into society. ALC assists the young and adults in their professional integration by means of participative methods and workshops, tailored and personalised techniques. The daily mission of 250 professionals of ALC is to help people overcome the changes without imposing them.

 ALC consists of 6 institutions:

  1. The Maternal Centre provides shelter for mothers with children or the future mothers.
  2. The Teenagers Sector includes three establishments for teenagers with difficulties and a shelter for minors in rupture with their parents or others shelters.
  3. A centre of accommodation (CHRS) provides families (with or without children) and single persons with accommodation and/or helps them to attain social and economic integration.
  4. A centre hosting the asylum seekers (CADA)
  5. A service comprising different means for emergency housing and orientation within the department (CHORUS 06).
  6. A service providing assistance for people engaged in prostitution and the victims of human trafficking (SPRS).
